Bikram Yoga Teacher
I first began practicing yoga in May 2013. Growing up, I was never athletic and faced problems with my spine due to scoliosis. Practicing this yoga regularly has helped me to overcome many of those problems. After a year of practice, I was inspired to complete a yoga teacher training to share this healing practice with others.
I have taught classes all over the United States and internationally in places ranging from Thailand to Canada, New York to California, and Miami to Vancouver, but I will always call Columbia, SC my home.

Bikram Yoga - 90 MINUTES
Bikram’s Beginning Yoga Class is a 90 minute, 26 posture series practiced in 105 degrees and 40% humidity. The yoga series combined with heat is designed to scientifically warm & stretch muscles, ligaments & tendons, in the order in which they should be stretched. The yoga gently guides the body into correct alignment, strengthens & tones the muscles, lubricates the joints, & promotes flexibility. It also provides tremendous benefits on the organs, glands, & fluids of the body by aiding in the release of toxins.
The 26 posture Bikram sequence systematically moves fresh, oxygenated blood to 100% of your body, building core strength while restoring all systems to healthy working order, just as Nature intended. Proper weight, muscle tone, vibrant good health, & a sense of well-being will automatically follow. The focus & intensity of the class help to build mental clarity & determination.
